I mean a lot of people thought a Senge might be going #7, number 8, and here he is at number 12 for the Chicago Bulls getting a Sendai.
Look, 6’9, 7’1 limb span, physical specimen, very raw, but the downhill attacking with him is the greatest asset he has.
He had 7 games this past year playing in Germany for Um with 10+ free throws.
Last 6 months of the.
Season after looking like a guy who was just a complete liability from three point range, made 31% of his threes, 74% from the line.
Those are not eye popping numbers, but Asena was used used to be a hackable free throw guy.
Like you would hack Asenge 40%, 50% from the line.

He’s become quality from 3 and from the line.
So I think for the Bulls here, they may have not have expected him to be on the board, but why not take the swing on Asenge when you don’t.
Have a lot else going on average team in the middle.
King, I wanna get your perspective on him leaving his team playing in the finals.
Kev mentioned it earlier that his minutes were dwindling down a little bit, but still a team sport.
You’re in the finals overseas Germany in the in the in the final game.
You leave your team to be here at the NBA draft, which one could argue is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
How do you as a player feel about that?

What does that say about your character to the rest of us, man, forget that.
Get that.
Do you know what guys would do to walk across that stage and to shake Adam Silver’s hand?
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
A young man, you can’t pass that up.
Yeah, you win the finals, but bro, you’re about to make 20 $30 million.
That team, hey, I hope you guys win.
I’ll send you, I’ll send you I’ll FaceTime you, give you some words of encouragement.
That’s fine.
At the end of the day, right?
Go get the money and Me, I don’t think it says nothing about his character because this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, right?

I mean, I, I think it’s one of those things where like when you look at his play because he plays so hard and because he gives so much effort, I don’t think you can, you can label this young man as a guy who doesn’t care.
He cares clearly and Kev, to your point earlier when you talked about the shooting, I look at a guy’s mechanics.
When I, when he’s a bad shooter and his numbers aren’t there, I focus on mechanics, his mechanics.
Look good.
You can tell that his form is there, his elbow is straight, he gets good rotation on the basketball, so I do think he’s a more than capable shooter.
When he had me sold, any 69 guy that’s picking up a guard 94 and being able to stay in front and keep you under control, to me, you got me sold.

You’re doing what you’re supposed to be doing, so he cares.
So we can’t say just because he left his team, his character is in question, he doesn’t care because the way he plays shows and reflects that he does care.
Well, here’s the thing.
Everybody, as we all know this is a copycat league, right?
No, and that that was a that was a text I got earlier today was that New Orleans was talking to Derek Queen at 7.
That’s what, and they wound up getting, they, they wound up getting the best of both worlds, right?
This is that.
But back to the Senda, copycat league.
What was Oklahoma City’s Bulldog’s name?
Jaylen Williams on defense in addition to the line, the linebacker is Lou Door, right.

Bulldog is Jaylen Williams.
It’s totally different ball games there, but this is a copycat league.
This is what you find if you’re the Chicago Bulls, they have been 2 games on the 500, 2 games on the 500, 3 games on.
They are the, the, the definition of mediocrity the past 3 or 4 years.
You wound up drafting boozelas last year, you played them, you traded Levine.
Now maybe they’re trading Kobe White.
Maybe they’re, maybe I don’t think the Bulls are done dealing and doing things tonight.
This could just be the first sign.
