Yahoo Sports’ Draft Live crew reacts to the Orlando Magic’s selection of Michigan State guard Jase Richardson with the 25th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
Right here they take Jace Richardson with the 25th pick and to me this is a dream fit for the magic and for Jace Richardson.

All the flaws with Jace Richardson, 6’1, he’s small.
Well, guess what?
You go to a team with length and size that literally every position on the floor.
So now you’re gonna have Jace Richardson in that backcourt with Desmond Bain and Jaylen Suggs involved.
Than two man actions with Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner, Wendell Carter as a guy who’s a connective playmaker, not a league creator, but one of the connective pieces on the team.
I, I, I cannot imagine a better fit for Jace Richardson and the Magic, and for them an awesome pick to me.
This is an A+ on both sides, player and team.

You know, I, I, I fully, even though I’m not high on this young man, I do.
Think that this is a situation where he can he can succeed because you surround him like KLC said with length.
So everything that I talked about my concerns right now you mitigate them because of what’s around him.
So I actually do think that if there were any situation where this young man could be successful despite the size and despite him not being a playmaker, despite him as being a decent shooter, a good shooter, not great.
I think it is uh uh Orlando Magic, so I actually really do like this picture.
