I told you we have experts here.

KOC called it Tom Sorber center is going to OKC.
Don’t be surprised.
I love it.
Look, I mean, I think Sorber was the best overall big in this draft class.
I think with Sorber, he’s not quite the defensive player that Malawatch is.
He’s not quite the offensive presence that Derek Queen is.
He’s not the athlete that Johan Bard.
He’s just more solid.
He does a little bit of.
Everything and I think for Georgetown this past season it showed in the numbers.
They had a 92.1 defensive rating with Sorber on the floor.
When he was off the floor, it was 118.4, so they went from one of the best defenses in the whole nation with Sorber out there to one of the worst when he was off the floor.

He’s 6’10 with a massive 7’6 wingspan, a lot of length, a lot of strength, and I just think he does a little bit of everything for your team.
And you think about the style of Derek Queen.
He’s a creator.
He’s he’s quick off the dribble.
So Sorber is just a connector and what does Isaiah Harenstein do for that OKC system connects on the perimeter.
It would Sorber.
I think he can fill that role in the future, maybe even help in the short term, and there could be some shooting skill to him in the short term in the long term as well, but I just think Sorber is rock solid late in the process, I moved him up to my top ranked big in the class.

And I love him.
I, I, I like the word that you used right there.
He’s solid because that’s I think that’s I think the best description for this young man.
You’re right, he doesn’t have that vertical explosion like I would like to see out of a big, especially when you’re 6’10, maybe a little undersized, but the 76 wingspan wingspan, and what else he has that I’ve been so impressed with watching him play, his timing.
He’s not a great shot blocker, but he’s always in the right spot defensive.
And his timing is impeccable.
His hands, his hands and his timing are incredible, and I think that’s what makes up for what he doesn’t have with the athleticism.

So I think he’s very, very solid.
Once again, no pressure.
You’re going to the champions, the reigning champions, no pressure.
You get to go against Chet, you get to go against, uh, Hardentein every single day in practice.
You will get better.
Don’t be surprised if you see him in the rotation one day, but he’s very, very solid.
